Brock Cottage is situated in the lovely village of Gosforth in the Western reaches of the Lake District National Park and within easy reach of Eskdale, Wasdale and Scafell Pike, England's highest mountain, and the beach at Seascale is just 10 minutes drive away.
The Wasdale area is synonymous with wonderful walking routes, both high on the fell tops or low to ground through the surrounding farms and along the rivers and breathtaking views in all directions.
Brock Cottage is the larger of two cottages that sit next door, the other being Bramble Cottage (sleeps 2), ideal to book together for an extended family holiday.
The house spans two floors, the floor being open plan and comprising the living room with log-burning fire and the dining room with the large sold-wood dining table. Off the dining room is the well-equipped kitchen, leading to the conservatory and the rear garden.
Upstairs are the two lovely bedrooms, one of which is en-suite, and the family bathroom with a shower and separate bathtub.
