Church View Cottage is a beautiful, family-friendly, and dog-friendly self-catering cottage within walking distance of Kendal Town Centre and its many shops, restaurants and bars, museums and the Brewery Arts Centre. The traditional stone terraced cottage overlooks St George’s Parish Church diagonally onto Gooseholme park and the River Kent.
A small patio to the front of the property catches the afternoon sun, making it ideal for relaxing with a couple of drinks and watching the world go by or chatting with friendly neighbours.
The cottage is conveniently close to Kendal Train Station and Bus Station with links to Windermere, Ambleside and further afield to Keswick as well as London, Manchester and Scotland via Oxenholme Station on the West Coast mainline, which makes it perfect for walkers who wish to explore the Lakes or Fells.
PLEASE NOTE: Gooseholme Park is currently closed until Mid-2024 to allow the Environment Agency to install the new flood wall. We recommend Castle Park (a 10-minute walk) as a great alternative for your dogs to exercise.
