Coomb View has recently been redecorated and restyled in a contemporary style to create a stunning holiday home on our 100-acre farm. We offer peace and tranquillity, which is perfect for a relaxing break after a busy day of sightseeing or after participating in the numerous activities both the Lake District and Yorkshire National Parks offer. Our guests have easy access to the Lakes and Mountains, Market Towns of Kendal and Sedbergh, providing numerous amenities. The area falls within the designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Coomb View offers modern open-plan living, including a fully fitted Black High Gloss Kitchen, and the central island is a chef's heaven! The central island is home to the oven and ceramic hob and can also be used as a Breakfast Bar or a chill-out area with a glass of wine or fruit juice. The kitchen also features a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge freezer and a microwave.

The open plan Kitchen, Dining and Living Area for four guests is on the first floor to take advantage of the stunning rural views. The Living Area is furnished with Leather Sofas, Coffee Table and a 50" TV with Google Chrome Cast, allowing guests to stream premium channels on their account through laptop/tablet/mobile through our WI FI. There is also a DVD and CD Player for the home entertainment of our Guests. The living area also features a wall-mounted feature flame gas fire.

The two luxury bedrooms have also been restyled, and each bedroom has access to an outdoor patio area that enjoys the morning sun. Bedroom One is a double bedroom with a feature decorated wall, patio doors to the outside and plenty of storage. Bedroom Two is a zip & link king-size bed that Guests can make into a twin on request. This bedroom also benefits from a feature decorated wall, modern furniture, plenty of storage and fabulous patio doors.

Our bathroom features a freestanding organic-shaped bath perfect for relaxation after a busy day. Or, if you prefer, we have a walk-in large head rain shower.

Coomb View at Sandbeds also has access to a lovely patio area to the front of the barn conversion with a slate water feature surrounded by a herb garden. The patio has a table and chairs to enjoy outdoor living and the dark night skies without the urban glow. To the side of our barn conversion are a large lawn area and country garden complete with secure private parking for two cars. Our guests also have walking rights on our 100-acre farm.

Locally, guests have complimentary use of the nearby Riverside Hotel's pool, gym and spa, situated in Kendal

About the location

Coomb View is set in a rural location on our 100-acre farm, six miles North East of Kendal and only four miles to the nearest junction of the M6.

The area falls within the designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. Northern towns and cities are very accessible. Manchester and Liverpool are 1 hour and 15-minute drive away and a 50-minute drive from Scotch Corner on the A1 for the North East.
