Shoemaker’s House

Kendal
Sleeps 5
Bedrooms 3

If you're looking for a holiday home in Kendal, close to the town's shops, restaurants, and attractions, Shoemaker's House is ideal! With three bedrooms, a large open-plan kitchen and dining area, and a lovely garden to the rear, you'll be assured of the home comforts you come to expect.

The semi-detached house takes its name from an era when both owners worked at K-Shoes as shoemakers. The house is situated in a cul-de-sac and is now owned by their son and his wife, who have furnished it to a high standard.

The ground floor comprises a comfortable living room with a Freeview smart TV, a modern electric fireplace, and comfy sofa seating. Retract the double sliding doors to reveal a superb kitchen and dining area, which creates a fantastic open-plan space from the front to the rear of the house.

To expand the space further, open the patio doors to the rear enclosed garden. Leading off the kitchen area is a utility room and a WC.

Upstairs is equally lovely, comprising three bedrooms: a double, a twin and a single. The shower room with underfloor heating includes a toilet, basin, and a large walk-in shower.

Outside to the front is a small garden area with a bench seat, which benefits from the morning sunshine. To the rear is the larger garden with composite decking and flower beds, a lovely space for chilling out after a busy day in the Lakes. There is also a large public grassed football pitch, which guests can use for a kickabout, less than 20m away.

Street parking is available outside the house, which is usually readily available.

This beautiful house is easily accessible from the M6 and near the town centre. We highly recommend this house for families with children and friends holidaying in the Lake District.
